The Budokwai, founded by Gunji Koizumi in 1908, primarily as a Judo Club, aims to be a centre of excellence for the Martial Arts. Classes held on a regular basis include Judo; Aikido; Karate; Ju-Jutsu and other martial arts and activities are covered from time to time.

In addition - The traditional monthly and very well attended 'LJS' gradings have transferred to the Budokwai since the London Judo Society closed it's doors in Lansdowne Way in May 1999. Judo Gradings are held on the last Sunday of the month. Contact the office for further details.
