Censorship - The dictionary definition of censorship is the removal of information from the public, or the prevention of circulation of information, where it is desired or felt best by some controlling group or body, that others are not allowed to access the information which is being censored. There is often a fine line between censoring comments to protect those that may read them inadvertently and thus be upset (such as the porn sent in to the children's pages) and the censoring of important information which may then be concealed or misrepresented to the membership.

Regular readers will know that this site attempts to fairly represent the opinions of all members and friends of the club and to that end we invite comments and contributions which can be sent in via the feedback form.

It is unfortunate that some club members do not adhere to this 'open' policy - but each to his own!.

Happy 2007 - and lets hope this year will lead to increased awareness, openness and regard for our fellow human beings.

Sorry - we have had to temporarily close the discussion page due to puerile comments by individuals seeking to disrupt the website.

In the meantime please use the feedback page to post comments or questions and they will be vetted prior to posting on the web.

It is a pity that petty minded individuals have nothing better to do than to disrupt others enjoyment.

Sorry Again - The Junior part of the website has also been closed down due to someone posting up pornography on it through the children's chat page.

This appeared to be specifically targeted by an individual with knowledge of the club and not just a random paedophile.

In these difficult times when the club has been taken to court by several female members with regard to discrimination and there have been complaints of sexual harassment, it is deeply shameful that the reputation of members should be further tarnished by such behaviour. - Koizumi would certainly turn in his grave.
